As of December 31, 2023, we are no longer camping much and I an no longer updating this website. I have left it online for the time being, knowing that people still find their way to my articles and find them helpful.  General Comments
This is the place if you LOVE the beach, not if you don't! The campground is directly on Lake Michigan, with some of the campsites right up to the sand. You must be pretty much self-contained, or use the public facilities. There is a dump station and water source, but only electric hookups at the sites. RVs and trailers are really on top of each other, but this place seems to be loved by people who love the beach. Walk out to the lighthouse on the pier adjacent to the campground.
